Howdy! I'm Christy Mejia Huffman, a native of Waco. I moved to Navarro County to marry my husband David in 2014. Most of my professional career was spent writing for television. I had an exciting career as a news producer around Texas and Oklahoma and then later as Public Relations and Public Service Director at KCEN-TV in Waco. I've also spent time in the non profit world as PR Director for The Salvation Army in Waco. Marketing is my specialty. David and I live close to Tiger Stadium where I enjoy walking and jogging. My newest hobby is flying. I am working on my pilot's license. Flying can test your nerves and resolve and you better learn how to stay strong in difficult situations. Some other hobbies include baking, writing for the Corsicana Daily Sun and spending time with our three dogs and our three-legged cat. I have a great church family at Immaculate Conception. I've volunteered for Derrick Days and The Palace Theatre. I currently serve on the School Advisory Council at James L Collins Catholic School and The Salvation Army of Corsicana board. Real estate is in my blood. My parents kept their first home and used it as investment property. I caught the bug early for buying, selling and now investing in real estate. Every real estate client has a story. My goal is to match up the right home with each person's story. I'm a very good listener and I jump into action. What's your story? I'd love to hear more about you. ~Christy ([email protected])
